I went on a little tour of the area around the hotel and stopped to pick up some water and snacks for the morning. Upon going to grab a Pepsi, I saw the following sign. I guess it's a good idea. But I think it penalizes us people who don't drink coffee.

My bestie Lydia and I have embarked upon a three-week road trip down the western coast of the United States. Our journey starts today, July 26th, 2021 in Seattle, WA. Over the next three weeks we will stop in Portland, Ashland, Sacramento, Monterey, Valencia and end our adventure with five days in Palm Springs, which I must admit I'm most excited about.

During my three-week adventure I've been challenged with trying new foods. The rule is, I can eat where I want, it just has to be a place I haven't been to before. As you can imagine, I was somewhat disappointed when I arrived at my hotel only to discover that it was across the street from the Cheesecake Factory. I was so hungry I was looking forward to the familiar. However, I ended up choosing this little place, called "The Dough Zone", a dumpling and noodle house. I seems that Seattle has a plethora of Asian Restaurants, more than average, from my perspective. I had the chicken pot stickers and beef noodle soup, both were pretty good. I gave it a "B". The restaurant was quaint and the food was fast, but the noodles has a "twange" that I couldn't shake. However, other than that, everything was excellent.

Leave me a comment, and let me know if you have any suggestions regarding places eat or things to do while I'm in Seattle. Thanks in advance!
